The Art of the Brick an exhibition by Nathan Sawaya a New York artist that makes art out of Lego. The show will feature about 80 sculptures made from more than a million bricks are on show at the Old Truman Brewery in London from 26 September to 4 January.
I was lucky enough to see this amazing show as you walked around the exhibition on each piece it would tell you how many bricks it took to make the sculpture.
Sawaya takes a single bricks and turns them into something so incredible he says that
"Dreams are built, brick by brick"
One of the main highlights to the exhibition was a T-Rex made out of 80,020 bricks the shear size of the piece was incredible and the way they presented it was in the middle of camouflage room and you could walk around the outside and look through the gaps to see the T-Rex and then you come to an opening and you see thin incredible piece suspended from the ceiling.
"It took an entire summer and nearly drove me crazy. Do you know how many ribs a T rex has?”
